I heard Mike92Chevy in NHL:1 the other night and he was talking about how nice it is to be in Arkansas. Those two months living with Bradshaw were hell on him. Minnie Riperson's - Sonnin' You
Minnie Riperton (November 8, 1947 – July 12, 1979) was an American singer and songwriter noted for her rare five and a half octave vocal range, and her 1975 hit single "Lovin' You".
Lovin' you is easy cause you're beautiful
Makin' love with you is all i wanna do
Lovin' you is more than just a dream come true
And everything that i do is out of lovin' you
La la la la la la la... do do do do do
No one else can make me feel
The colors that you bring
Stay with me while we grow old
And we will live each day in springtime
Cause lovin' you has made my life so beautiful
And every day my life is filled with lovin' you
Lovin' you i see your soul come shinin' through
And every time that we oooooh
I'm more in love with you
La la la la la la la... do do do do do
It's unfortunate that Ms. Riperton is not with us today, but a fan of hers, Minnie RiperSON is. This is my hit single that is dedicated to the chat scrap of NHL:1 such as:
Todd.... ..Ari Freaking Gold
Vero....... Bels_Belfour
Kate....... Beautyislife143
Tina....... Citygirl0117
Linda..... Forever_Frantic
Katie...... Canucks_Girl44
Sherry... Sherry_Berry27
My apologies to those that I left out. You know who you are.
Minnie RiperSON (January 24, 1970 – ) is an American singer and songwriter noted for my not-so rare three and a half octave vocal range, and my 2008 hit single "Sonnin' You".
Sonnin' You... is easy because you're pitiful
Sonnin' You... is all I ever want to do
Sonnin' You... is more than just a dream come true
And everything that I do, is out of Sonnin' You...
blah blah blah blah, blah blah blah... you you you you you
No one else amuses me, and
The laughter that you bring
Hopefully you'll grow old with me
And we will live each day in chat-rooms
Because Sonnin' You... has made my life so beautiful
And every day my life is filled with Sonnin' You...
When Sonnin' You... your soul comes shining through
And every time... that we meet
I'm more in need of Sonnin' You...
blah blah blah blah, blah blah blah, is all you ever do

Future Seminars...
Greetings readers,
I am looking at putting together some information and conducting a few "in chat" seminars for the chat scrap of NHL:1. Sonners, if you can spare a minute of your time, I would appreciate it if you could send me some suggestions on each of the below courses.
Attendees will be invited on a first fail - first sign up basis. A "qualification" test has been attached for each course. Upon completion of this test, ask yourself if you feel you should attend. If the answer is "yes" simply post in the comment box that you are interested in attending or send me an e-mail. Please, no long drawn out sad stories, just a "yes" or "I am in need, but not at this time" response. This will help be in deciding whether a 2nd or 3rd session will be needed.
Classroom size is vital to quality education. It is historically proven that smaller class sizes can dramatically improve student achievement. I am sure you have noticed by now that there is room for 10 students per course. Upon receipt of your request I will transfer your name to the master list below. The updated list of attendees with confirmed dates and times of each seminar will be posted on Sunday, January 27th, 2008. Test early!

Bedroom Golf...
Rules for Bedroom Golf are as follows:
1. Each player shall furnish his own equipment for play, normally one club and two balls.
2. Play on a course must be approved by the owner of the hole.
3. Unlike outdoor golf, the object is to get the club in the hole and keep the balls out of the hole.
4. For most effective play, the club should be a firm shaft. Course owners are permitted to check shaft stiffness before play begins.
5. Course owners reserve the right to restrict club length to avoid damage to the hole.
6. The object of this game is to take as many strokes as necessary until the course owner is satisfied that the play is complete. Failure to do so may result in being denied permission to play the course again.
7. It is considered bad form to begin playing the hole immediately upon arrival at the course. The experienced player will normally take time to admire the entire course, with special attention to well-formed bunkers.
8. Players are cautioned not to mention other courses they have played or are playing to the owner of the course being played. Upset course owners have been known to damage players' equipment for this reason.
9. Players are encouraged to bring proper rain gear for their own protection.
10. Players should assure themselves that their match has been scheduled, particularly when a new course is being played for the first time. Previous players have been known to become irate if they discover someone else playing on what they consider to be a private course.
11. Players should not assume a course is in shape for play at all times. Some players may be embarassed if they find the course to be temporarily under repair. Players are advised to find alternative means of play when this is the case.
12. The course owner is responsible for the manicuring and pruning of any bush around the hole to allow for improved viewing of, alignment with and approach to the hole.
13. Players are advised to obtain the course owner's permission before attempting to play the back nine.
14. Slow play is encouraged. However, players should be prepared to proceed at a quicker pace, at least temporarily, at the course owner's request.
15. It is considered outstanding performance, time permitting, to play the same hole several times in one match.
16. The course owner will be the sole judge of who is the best player.
Good Luck!!!

Essentials of Life...
The below are my personal top 6 Essentials of Life. I am curious of those that read this what their top Essentials of Life may be. Surely I would hope that at least 1 or 2 of what I show will make your list as well.
1. Oxygen - Oxygen not only feeds tissue and is vital to life, oxygen will also; kill viruses, burn bacteria, singe yeast, and dissolve cancer. Disease states are anaerobic. All bugs hate oxygen. Cancer cells for example, feed off of glycogen (anaerobic respiration), and die in the strong presence of oxygen! Part of a healthy immune system is to have the circulation, rich red blood cells and clean thin blood needed to carry oxygen throughout the body to every nook and cranny thereby killing off anything that may be thinking of festering there due to the lack of sufficient oxygen. - People, get outdoors and inhale some fresh air!!!
2. Water - Evaluate what you drink. Your body is mostly water and needs water as its primary liquid. Since your body was designed to regulate itself internally, drinking external stimulants puts added stress on your body and interferes with the regulation of blood sugar. - Put down the soda cans and beer bottles, enjoy a nice glass of H2O or two!!!
3. Salt - Just like a lot of other food ingredients, eating a bit of salt is essential for us to stay healthy. Salt is made up of two chemicals - sodium and chloride, which have many uses in our bodies. Sodium is an important part of your blood, and it helps carry nutrients into your body's cells. Sodium also helps regulate your blood pressure and helps your nervous system transmit messages. All of these functions mean that eating a small amount of sodium is essential for us to stay alive. The chloride bit of salt is also useful. Your body uses it to make stomach acid to help digest food and kill off dodgy bacteria. Just like a lot of other food ingredients, eating a bit of salt is essential for us to stay healthy. -I'm sure with the super-sizing of Valu Meals your sodium intake isn't a problem here. Just remember, too much of a good thing, may not be good for you!
4. Potassium - Potassium is the third most abundant mineral in the human body, and the benefits of potassium have been studied for decades. Potassium acts as an electrolyte, taking on a positive or negative charge that helps regulate blood pressure, muscle contraction and keep your bodily processes working right. In order to keep your bodily systems working together, your body needs to maintain electrolytes like potassium, sodium and chloride in a careful balance. -Might I suggest a banana or orange in place of that banana cream pie, or orange flavoured creamsicle you consume daily? Or maybe fennel instead of that funnel cake you eat late at night?
5. Exercise - Evaluate how you exercise. Your body needs exercise that increases your heart rate, promotes muscle activity and aids neurological integration, so your body works as it was designed. Excellent exercises that achieve all three are swimming or walking correctly. - Doing finger push-ups by "right clicking" your mouse does not = daily excercise!!!
6. Oils - Essential oils are the oils extracted from flowers, seeds and roots of trees and plants. Known for its therapeutic properties, the essential oil paves way for easy transportation of nutrients to various cells of the body. These essential oils make it possible to oxygenate, without which the assimilation of nutrients in the body is not possible. Essential oils are extremely beneficial for treating muscular and joint problems. For those suffering from respiratory disorders, essential oils are of great value. It not only helps to maintain your physical health, but also takes the charge of ensuring your mental soundness. Essential oil massage truly soothes the nerve and makes the whole experience very refreshing and rejuvenating. -Wesson, Canola, or Whirley-Pop Real Theater Popcorn Oil is not on the list, people!!!
Okay chat scrap, I'm sure you are scratching your heads at this point asking, "wtf is she talking about?" "Oils, what the hell... maybe a little coconut oil while basking in the sun, that's about it?" "Potassium... "umm, I don't put anything in or on my body that I can't spell." "Salt? ... okay, let's raise the blood pressure even more."
I spoke with a few Ghost Town:1 chatters last night and this is what they had to say...
Cck2ca- "I would agree with Oxygen and Water as top essentials, but I also feel that chat should be on not just your list, but my list and everyone's list that reads this."
Flyereddie48- "Animal protein—flesh and dairy products—and refined grains along with chat are essentials of life in my book. And an ATV to get around town during the winter months here in Flin Flon."
Cudaguy- "Unemployment cheques and chat room romance is all I need."
alexovechkin- "If you can have a warm place to sleep, and be dry, and have something to eat; basically, and be clothed... that's really about it for me and my top Essentials of Life, and everything else that I enjoy, such as chat, is just a bonus."
Not2visible_31- "Three grand essentials to happiness in my life are... always having something to do, having someone to love, and something to hope for."
Pixie- "Abortion clinics, twinkies, attention, chat room boys like Nhlphi, and I'm set."
Forever Frantic- "Joe."
Land of the Shire- "My nine essentials that make true worth are... Loving, Learning, Laboring, Laughing, Lamenting, Linking, Living, Leading and Cristina."
Paul.Anthony84- "Peace, Love & Harmony! and my fave two chat rooms."
Thornton_19_ca- "WD40 for my wheelchair, Mary_Christine, and NHL:1 chat."
Jockoredwing53- "Medical marijuana and hemp, Swanson's TV dinners and Viagra."
I can't go on with the rest of the brief interviews I conducted, as it is just too embarrassing. And yes, most all that I spoke with, do list chat as an essential part of their life.
Sad.
Why is it that no one mentioned... Physical Health, Social & Emotional Strength, Education & Literacy? No hope maybe... who knows.
For those that I didn't have a chance to talk to and are reading this, leave me your thoughts.
I promise to be gentle in my responses back to you.
Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight!

A letter from a reader...
I received this story via E-mail last night with a side note attached...
"please post this on your blog at your earliest possible convenience as it is far too long to post as a comment in your last - - Thanking you in advance, XXXX"
It looked to be like any other Internet connection. A smile arrived in my inbox. We exchanged a few semi-witty emails. We rolled over to chat on instant messenger. We even had a couple of phone conversations. It was our time spent on the phone, talking about family life, past dating experiences and strange objects found in our fridge that really changed things for me, though. It was there that the real romance began…
We both had busy schedules. I worked all day and she spent long hours at night in the school lab, pressing her education to the limits as she fought to find a cure for cancer. Her passion inspired me. When she spoke of it, a feeling washed over me and I began to see life as something bigger than the bubble I was living in. I saw life as more important than the sum of evenings spent out at the clubs, flirting with strangers and quaffing adult beverages. The power of working for a greater good became very real and I wanted to be a better person from just a handful of phone conversations. We agreed to meet, but then something happened. I’m not sure if she met someone, if I messed up somehow, or her previous love was back in her life, but the day before we were to finally connect, she dropped off the radar.
The series of chats we have will be hard for me to forget. It’s a love story that is sad for me to tell. Even though we never connected, the feelings were genuine and they have left their mark on my life. I’ll always remember the girl that made me want more in life than just another date… :(
My friends have told me that you shouldn't worry XXXX, there are plenty of other fish in the sea.
I hate that saying. It is a saying that people use to try and help someone rebound. Emotional pain is probably the worst pain known to humans. It's hard to recover, but most do in time. I
have known "fishermen" that have given up on "fishing" just because one got away. Blogger, I know you have dealt with many of life's issues that were thrust upon you, I only wish I were as strong as you.
I'm making up my own saying, "there are plenty of fish in the sea to meet me halfway." Meaning, I'll drop my hook into the water, but it's up to fish to do the rest.
With thanks,
XXXX
Thank you for sharing your story with us, XXXX. I know it must be rough on you. Losing love is never easy.
The good news is, XXXX... I may be able to help you out.
Shockingly, XXXX... the vast majority of what men naturally do after a breakup actually ensures they will never get back together with their ex girlfriend.
Are you XXXX, or anyone reading this, guilty of the below?
-Acting depressed so your ex girlfriend will feel bad for you and want you back out of pity?
-Telling your girlfriend you will change and that things will be different next time?
-Using phony, manipulative trickery such as guilt to bribe your ex girlfriend back to you?
-Futilely trying to reason, argue and use logic to persuade your ex girlfriend to come back to you?
LOL at that last one as women make decisions based on emotion and not logic. Were you guilty of that last one, XXXX?
You know where to find me, XXXX.
And remember,
Tomorrow is Another Day.

Ghost Town:1
So I pop into NHL:1 last night and this is who I see...
avavaa70
mrbot2004
suzzie143me
Who the hell are these people? For the time that I was in, nothing was said. Maybe they were in PM with each other... LOL!!! But I doubt it. Wow, another visitor...
amr_vip41: hi
We're up to 4 chatters now at 7:00 PM. YAY!!! And that was it for the next 20 minutes...LOL!!!
duecey4 has entered the room.
bobbob303 has entered the room.
The party is about to begin... LOL!!! Now I ask my loyal readers... WTF is going on with NHL:1? It's dead. What have I done? Wait, what have WE done? LOL!!!
WE have transformed NHL:1 into Ghost Town:1.
Back in September... September the 13th to be exact... I posted my first blog. Little did I know that it would be successful, in more ways than one. My plan was to "expose" a little bit about everyone that I felt needed some help. I wanted to post certain things that would hopefully embarrass and quite possibly wake that individual up that of whom I was counseling.
I first started with Linda. Linda was at first obstinate, or pigheaded if you will... but after about 6 weeks of what some called abuse, she started taking some of my advice as well as the advice of you, the readers, and what you were putting out there. There was nothing more pathetic than Linda sitting in chat 20 hours a day stalking Outovcontroll while he would mentally abuse her. Most of the room loved it, and it was the only entertainment and enjoyment that the "chat scrap" would encounter throughout their day. The Sonners loved it as well, but Linda was far too stupid or half-witted to see what was happening. We/they were there to help in a way very few could understand.
Oz took some ribbing and ridicule early and often. He usually... if not always... LOL... ignored suggestions and resisted the help that was being offered to him. It took Oz about 10 weeks to realize that I, the blogger... and you, the readers, were in fact correct. Oz never spent time with his wife... FACT... unless it was in chat. Oz spent time with his daughter, but it was always while he was behind the monitor. When not online, Oz would spend his time sleeping, therefore no contact or communication was happening with his family. Now Oz has shown concerns that he may be soon be deported, is in jeopardy of losing his family, and and is trying to get his life going in the right direction. Unfortunately it may be a little too late for that. We'll just have to wait and see.
Let us not forget about Veronica. Has anyone seen Bels_Belfour? If so, where? When? And most importantly... why? Vero had been lying to chatters for 10 years about who and what she was. I offer no apologies for what I have done in exposing her. For almost half of her life she had been living a lie. I'm not so much angry at her for lying to me, or the room, but lying to herself all those years. If by chance someone reading this is communicating with her... tell her that I am NOT sorry, but I do applaud her for leaving NHL:1... for accepting herself for who she is, and that she should never again be ashamed of that.
These days Linda is a visitor of NHL:1 maybe once a week... under her Forever_Frantic ID anyway. Oz has limited his chats to no more than an hour a day... 3-4 days a week. Again, like Linda, who knows if Oz is really lurking and or lingering during chat sessions throughout the day. If they are, at least it isn't for 18-20 hours a day anymore. Veronica might possibly be one of the wannabe Sonners picking on the newest of "chat scrap", but at least she isn't posting fake pics or volunteering false information about herself.
Congratulations to the three of you for waking up... moving on... and hopefully making something positive happen with your lives. There were a few others that needed help and obviously listened to what WE had to say, but can use a little bit more guidance, in my opinion.
Kate, or Beautyislife143 seems to make herself visible maybe once every 2 weeks. Ari_Freaking_Gold hasn't been seen in about 2 months... unless it's been under a lurking ID. Beth or Heartofdixiechat is seen online very little, and never enters NHL:1 anymore. Nicole, or NJdevilsgirl_28 is nowhere to be found. There are others of course... you know who they are.
Do you miss them? LOL!!!
We see very little of Citygirl0117. Where is Ripstic1616? Briereyote, come out come out, wherever you are. Thornton_19_ca will pop in, but has nothing of importance to speak of anymore. I know what you're thinking... did he ever? You must admit that him and Paul sometimes made that room a bit more interesting when sharing stories of homosexuality, on-line rejections, and video game nostalgia. Paul has taken on the challenges of both an education and employment, while juggling women both on and offline. Has anyone seen Mike92chevy since he's moved in with Bradshaw? BTW, where is Bradshaw? The list goes on and on.
Now that WE, not just myself have eliminated unnecessary chat scrap or have been able to steer those chatters with hope, promise and possibly a future in the right direction... it's time to work on a few others who are nothing but a waste of space in which was once a great room to visit.
Cck2ca had taken some abuse over the last couple of months. He thought that if he came in under TML... a new ID... that everyone would forget the misery that came with the Cck ID.
Nice try Chris. He almost cracked once... and I thought Paul and Thornton had convinced him what a loser he was and to leave chat, dispose of his fantasy hockey team, and get a life. He posted a comment about how he quit, was leaving, blah blah... but resurfaced 24 hours later.
This man has got to go, FACT!
Pixie is possibly the biggest loser in NHL:1 that can be currently called a regular. This girl is yesterday's Vero... nothing but lies. I have been given some gossip about Pixie (that I will share at a later date) from an "assistant" while I was on vacation. I would like to talk to Pixie and quite possibly Christishere personally, before posting any comments. Nhlphi must go! Cudaguy must go! Duecey4, you are a joke. You must go! Do you ever say or type anything worth reading, Duecey4?
Booman and Dakilongmanok, now there's a pair to draw to. They're here to stay, so don't ask me to counsel them. They're the cockroaches of NHL:1. No matter what you do, they're not going anywhere... LOL!!! At least neither of them visits with regularity anymore. Wonder if they each found a woman?
Boltsgirlvl4 was on the "hit list" as was Miss_Match420... but they proved to be better people than I first made them out to be.
LOL... check this out, and pay close attention to the time:

just_relax_42: wow
just_relax_42: noone is here
Who would have ever thought that this room, which at times grew to an NHL:2 and NHL:3 on busy nights, would be so empty most nights of the week?
I know for a fact that some have moved on to MLB:1. There are many NHL:1 rejects already chatting in this room. Cheese_Bossman is a "god" to this room. Bradshaw is well hated and can't seem to find love anywhere he goes. Stevem3888 is the leader of the 3am - 6am pack. Devilray187 speaks the same nonsense he used to in NHL:1. And yes, seen visiting this room lately has been TML. Chris if you would like, I can put a good word in for you. LOL!!!
Happy New Year to all! New Years Resolutions anyone? Good luck with those. LOL!!!
